Learning has been a lifelong source of joy and success for me and is driven by a perpetual thirst for knowledge and an insatiable curiosity that compels me to continually seek answers, self improvement, and professional development.
Attending the Cinta Aveda Institute in San Francisco ignited my passion for hairstyling and unleashed my creative potential. Inspired daily by my fellow students, instructors, and the vibrant city, I discovered the boundless possibilities of my craft. Even as an established hairstylist, I have remained dedicated to advancing my skills and keeping pace with evolving industry trends through ongoing education.
In 2021, I returned to school as part of LEAD, developed for beauty professionals through a partnership between L'Oréal Professional, ROLFS Global Institute, and Arizona State University, a program focused on cultivating innovation, entrepreneurship, and business management skills tailored to the beauty and wellness industry. This robust academic background, combined with my practical experience, has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of salon operations, effective small business accounting, and scalable management systems.
My natural inclination towards planning, list-making, punctuality, and organization led me to project management. To explore further, I enrolled in Google's Project Management Professional certification. Then, building on this foundational knowledge, I have since taken additional courses, including Agile for Project Management, Data Analytics, and User Experience Design, to become fully adept in the project life cycle and transform innovative ideas into actionable plans that enhance user experiences and operational excellence for leading beauty brands.
In my free time I enjoy creative expression through art, writing, and crafting things of all kinds for my loved ones. I enjoy learning of all kinds, as I wholeheartedly believe that there is never a waking moment that isn’t spent absorbing knowledge from the world around us.
